We are recruiting Tax Manager for one of our partners.
The requirements are as follows:
– Bachelor’s or higher degree in Economics or Finance;
– Strong understanding of accounting theory and incipient tax knowledge;
– 5+ years tax experience;
– Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications;
– Advance level of English, both writing and speaking.

Your responsibilities will be the following:
– Tax compliance engagements for both tax compliance practice and tax mandates;
– Supervises the staff of the tax department and verifies the works developed by them;
– Participate in meetings, conference call with company clients;
– Assist on transactional, advisory and controversy mandates;
– Assist in Due Diligence mandates;
– Limited engagement in professional events and business development;
– Involved in tax compliance mandates and developing work synergies;
– Manage active contracts by liaising with the permanent customer;
– Providing advice in the tax field according to the tax code and methodological rules especially on the part of VAT and the regime of foreigners in Romania;
– Assists the client on request or on his own initiative with specialized information and offers legal solutions to solve his tax requirements;
– Formalization of a set of processes and templates, workflows and control checks required to make the compliance work as efficient, scalable and automatic as possible;
– Respect deadlines;
– Identify solutions to problems, opportunities or issues raised and implement in a meaningful manner for the client;
– Maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients;
– Keeping abreast of changes in tax regulations and legislation;
– Maintain an accurate and correct timesheet, review timesheet of junior staff, provide feedback to them to increase awareness and proficiency in entering the time;
– Responsible for continuous legislative documentation and preparation of information notes related to legislative news;
– Check that the tax and accounting documents comply with the form and method of preparation regulated by the relevant legislation;
